Wayne Austin Packard was born December 11, 1974 in Watertown, South Dakota, to his parents, Vern A. Packard and Dottie (Austin) Packard. He had recently become a Great Uncle to the newest member of the family, Oakley Michael Rich, just one month old. Always a kid at heart, Wayne was so full of love and loyalty to those who were lucky to be included in his circle of family and friends. Even though Wayne was the youngest he always looked out for his two older sisters, "Allie " and "Ames". When he was at home in Long Beach, he loved to check out the waves on his surf board with his friends, attend concerts and catch a Red Sox or Patriots game whenever possible. Wayne was employed by Carlisle Interconnect Technologies, in Long Beach, California. He had been with the company for 10 years and traveled on a weekly basis for the past year and a half.
