Dallas, Texas - Sherry Wilson, 85 year old Dallas, Texas resident passed away, Sunday June 29, 2025 in Dallas. A family graveside burial will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Dallas. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Sherry Jacklyn (Dull) Wilson was born to Oliver Vilmont and Martina Joy (Northup) Dull in Shattuck, Oklahoma on November 2, 1939. Sherry grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She then attended the University of Oklahoma and received her Bachelor and Masters Degree in education.
She was united into marriage to Robert Wayne Wilson on June 27, 1970 in Los Angeles, California. The couple then made their home in Huntington Beach, California, Norman, Oklahoma, Borger, Texas, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Katy, Texas, Clear Lake, Texas, The Woodlands and finally settling in Dallas, Texas. Sherry worked as a Home Economics Teacher for many years. She also worked as an administrative assistant after retiring from teaching.
She often enjoyed sewing, traveling and her cats. She loved being with her family and friends.
Sherry is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Wilson; one son, Ryan Wilson and wife Ashley; one daughter, Mandy Arendtsz and husband Jan; five grandchildren, Davis and Maddox Wilson, Roan, Mali and Deven Arendtsz; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Martina J. (Northup) Dull and Oliver V. "Jack" Dull.
