Woodward, Oklahoma - Shelly Waddell, 64 year old Woodward resident passed away, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, August 13, 2024 in the Saint Peter Catholic Church. Private family burial will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.


Shelly Lynn (Schnoebelen) Waddell was born June 27, 1960 to Jim and Vada (Covalt) Schnoebelen in Mooreland, Oklahoma. Shelly grew up and graduated from Medicine Lodge High School in Kansas. She then attended college in Colby, Kansas. She was united into marriage to Tom Waddell on June 26, 1982 at the Saint Peter Catholic Church in Woodward. To this union they were blessed two boys, Curtis and Kent.


Shelly enjoyed anything that had to do with art and music. Being with her family and friends brought her the most joy.


Shelly is survived by her father, Jim Schnoebelen of Woodward; two sons, Curtis Waddell and wife Amanda of Tuttle, Kent Waddell and wife Crystal of Mooreland; one brother, Kelly Schnoebelen and wife Kim of Mooreland; grandchildren, Jack Waddell and A.J. Waddell of Mooreland; Kylie Russell and spouse of Sharon; Mandy Waddell of Tuttle; and many other relatives and friends.


She was preceded in death by her mother Vada Schnoebelen, husband Tom Waddell, granddaughter, Addison Waddell, brothers, Kent Paul Schnoebelen and Gregory Omer Schnoebelen.
