Sharon Yvonne was born March 31st, 1937, to Dick and Mildred McNabb. She graduated from Woodward High School and attended the University of Oklahoma. In June 1959, she married Jim Ruble and together they raised their children Spence and Shelby in Woodward. Moving to Oklahoma City in 1981, she became a realtor and professional model. In 1994, she married Tom Boismier. Known affectionately as Honey to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharon was a woman of indomitable spirit, impeccably bold artistic taste, and immense love. Sharon died August 8th, 2024, in the same manner that she lived; with bravery, style, and surrounded by the love of family. Fittingly - she penned the following:

"Born in Mom's bed - 17 miles in the country - about halfway between Canton and Seiling. I weighed 10 1/2 lbs - poor mom...

I was a very shy little girl - 1st grade in Eureka, California, 2nd grade in Seiling, 3rd grade in Shattuck, 4th grade in Woodward. Somewhere along the way about 7th grade (I became a cheerleader) I blossomed. However, there are still times I become shy - oh well"

Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Dennis McNabb and brother-in-law Wayne Ruttman.

Survived by son Spence Ruble and Jamie; daughter Shelby Smith and Sonny, grandchildren Burris Smith and Kristen, Brendan Smith and Sierra, Jake Ruble and Astria, Rachel Beck, Hannah Cowan and Jake, great grandchildren Jaylee Beck, Griffin and James Smith, Parker Cowan, Lucy Smith and Archer Ruble on the way, stepdaughters Linda Howard and Chris, Paula John and Tim, sister June Ruttman, sister-in-law Macie McNabb Houston plus numerous family and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 13th, in the St. Mary's Chapel of All Souls' Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to All Souls Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
