Lester Gall, 83 year old Woodward resident, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 in Woodward. A Celebration of Lester's life will be held at the Woodward Moose Lodge on Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. All family and friends are welcome. Food and drinks will be provided.

Lester Gene Gall was born on May 6, 1941 in May, Oklahoma to Louis Dean and Ruby Evelyn (Wasson) Gall. Lester grew up in Woodward and attended Madison Park, Woodward Junior High and graduated from Woodward High School. He always joked that he went to the "School of Hard Knocks". He was united in marriage to Marilyn Kay LaMunyon on March 21, 1959 in Canadian, Texas. They made their first home in Woodward and also lived in Watonga and Yukon before settling back in Woodward. Lester owned and operated Northwest Freight Lines for many years until his retirement.

He loved spending time with his family and friends, playing with his dogs Dottie, Sadie, and Bella. Lester also enjoyed playing and coaching softball, golfing, riding his Harleys, traveling in his motor home and wheeling and dealing.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marilyn Gall of the home; three daughters: Christy Reiter, Cathy Ham and husband Kevin, Karen Roach and husband Ryan, all of Woodward; one brother Louis Dean Gall and wife Audrey; eight grandchildren: Thomas Harmon and Samantha of Woodward, Dustin and Sarah Harmon of Beaver, Lauren and Kent Fisher of Tulsa, Whitney and Megan Truelove of Edmond, Brooke and Tyler Harris of Tulsa, Austin Miller of Tulsa, Shelby and Ike McVicker of Woodward, Nicole and Luke Olson of Woodward, Kent Ham of St. Louis, Missouri, Kurt and Alysha Ham of Arnett, Korie Ham of Oklahoma City, Beth Sorenson of Blaine, Minnesota; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Ruby Gall.
