Desiree Kay Morgan Obituary
Woodward, Oklahoma - Desiree Kay Morgan, aged 69, of Woodward, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully with her family in Stillwater, Oklahoma, on May 14th, 2026.
Born on June 12th, 1956, to Luther and Lola Faye Riddle, Desiree lived most of her life in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University before returning to Woodward to work at Garmin's Jewelry and Woodward Vision Clinic. She later transitioned to work in the Woodward Public School system where she served for over 20 years, inspiring numerous Woodward students to succeed in all aspects of life. As one of its cherished members, Desiree always championed the Woodward community.
She is survived by daughter Jessie Ferguson, son-in-law Kyler Ferguson, granddaughter Lennon Ferguson, and son Jacob Armstrong.
Desiree constantly illuminated rooms with her bright smile and adorable laugh, but she was happiest surrounded by her children and granddaughter. She reveled in her role as a mother and grandmother, and her children attribute their building of beautiful lives to the strong foundation she always provided.
Honoring her wishes, no funeral will be held, but her family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. Anyone wishing to send flowers are instead kindly encouraged to make a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
