Woodward, Oklahoma - Darren Hacker, 53 year old Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024 in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Jason Dirks officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Darren Lee Hacker was born on December 8, 1970 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Walter Lee and Patricia Arlene (Kirkwood) Hacker. He grew up in Woodward and attended Woodward Public Schools (sometimes). Darren was united in marriage to Kimberly Kaye Noble on September 28, 1996 in Enid, Oklahoma. They were blessed with two children, Rilee Elizabeth and Rayce David. Darren moved to Enid in the early 1990's but moved back to Woodward in 2000. He owned and operated Champion Chassis, while living in Enid, and owned and operated Mud Hogs, LLC.

He loved being with his friends at the race car shop, playing foosball, going to the casino, racing with Rayce, calling Rilee multiple times a day to chat about everything, but most of all he loved spending time with his granddaughter, George. Darren also enjoyed going to the lake, going to the sand dunes, and giving his friends a hard time. He was a member of the Woodward Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his daughter, Rilee Murray and husband Blake; one son Rayce Hacker; granddaughter, Georgia Kaye "George" Murray; his mother, Arlene Hacker; other relatives and many friends.

Darren was preceded in death by his father, Walter Lee Hacker, Jr., one brother David Wayne Hacker, one sister, Lisa Gayle Hacker, both sets of grandparents, and friends, Julie Milton and Leon Ramirez.

His smart mouth and good laughs he brought to people will be deeply missed.
