Stephanie Stricker, 56, of Grapevine, Tx., went to join our Lord in Heaven on Friday, March 31st. Memorial will be at Lucas Funeral Home in Grapevine, TX at 2pm on Wednesday April 5th. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was born in Memphis, TN on August 26,1960 to Richard Torina, Sr and Lynne Snyder Herring. She married the love of her life, Jeff Stricker, on March 1st, 1988. She worked for American Airlines as a flight attendant from 1984 until she retired in 2007.
She was the most genuine, kind person who loved to care for people, giving the most authentic hugs paired with the most infectious laugh one could ever hear. She was a devout lover of animals, especially to Rudy and Tobey, her Bichon puppies. Sundays were Jeff's and her day to make their favorite dinner, pot roast with potatoes. Nona was her name to her grandchildren, Kamden and Grey, they truly adored her. She was the purest of heart and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff, of Grapevine, step-daughter, Jayme Lambert and husband Jared and grandchildren Kamden and Grey of Little Elm, TX. Her mother Lynne Herring of Big Spring, TX and her father, Richard Torina Sr of Bowman, GA. Brother Richard Torina Jr and sister Angela Parks husband Bob and nephews Wesley and Taylor, all of Big Spring, TX. Also survived by mother-in-law Wanda Stricker, Margie and Jim Hardy, Doug and Leona Stricker all of Woodward, OK, Jane and Dick Ess of Franklin, TN.
