Rex's Story

Rex Rosborough, 63 year old Woodward resident, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Woodward Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kevin Lee officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Rex Neal Rosborough was born on June 27, 1951 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to Thomas Daniel and Mildred Helen (Smith) Rosborough. Rex grew up in Illinois and attended high school and college in Illinois. Rex was inducted into the United States Navy in 1970 and honorably served his country as a Fireman until his discharge in 1974. He was united in marriage to Kristine Marie Garrison on August 9, 1986 in Woodward, Oklahoma. They made their home in Woodward and have lived there since that time. Rex worked in the oil field as a Truck Driver. Rex loved reading his bible, spending time with his family, and sharing his love of God. He was active in the Men’s Prayer Breakfast and Promise Keepers. Most of all, Rex loved being with his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Kristine Rosborough of the home in Woodward; sons, Tony Martinez and wife Kimberley, Joshua Rosborough, Johnathon Rosborough, Craig Dickie; daughters, Marcy Cooper and husband Lee, Megan Stubbs and husband Jeremy, Lydia Rosborough; one brother, Roy Rosborough; two sisters, Linda Rosborough, Diana Hamilton and husband Jerry; nine grandchildren, who will miss him greatly, Brandon, Frankie, Braxton, Zachary, Lauren, Katelyn, Noah, Kaleigh, and Preslee; other relatives and many friends.
