Pauline Jemes, 89, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Shane Rackley officiating. Vesta Pauline (Jinks) Jemes was born on April 1, 1926 in Grovespring, Missouri to John Archibald and A. Della (Buttram) Jinks. Pauline grew up near Grovespring, Missouri and attended school there. She was married on August 7, 1946 to Everett Jemes and lived on a farm near Grovepring, Missouri. In 1953 they moved to Fort Supply and lived there until 1992 when she moved to Woodward. Pauline worked at Western State Hospital, working there from 1962 until her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed playing harmonica, sewing, making quilts, and spending time with her family. Pauline is survived by her two sons; Harold Jemes and wife Florence of Bartlett, Texas, Darrell Jemes of Woodward; a grand daughter, Lacy Keeling and husband Kyle of Salado, Texas; a grandson, Cody Jemes and wife Madison of Houston, Texas; one great-grandson, Landon Keeling of Salado, Texas; one brother, Lester Jinks of Marshfield, Missouri; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Everett, her parents, sisters; Sarah, Nellie, and Maymie and brothers; Mitchell, Floyd, Raymond, Kenneth and Bill.
