Pamela “Pam” Crain, 55 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Woodward Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with her nephew, Jared Crain officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Pamela Sue Crain was born May 7, 1960 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Harold Ralph and Lucille (Schaeffler) Crain, along with her twin sister, Patty. She was a very small baby but she grew and tried to keep up with her twin sister. Pam loved living on the farm, taking care of the chickens and her calves. She graduated from Fargo High School and then attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She worked at the Woodward Hospital and the nursing home. Pam also took care of several older ladies in their home. She loved being in the country and walking with her dogs who always looked out for her. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her parents, Harold and Lucille Crain; two older brothers, Lee Crain and wife Lawanda of Woodward, Wesley Crain and wife Marilyn of Woodward; twin sister Patty Huckaby and husband J.C. of Dodge City, Kansas; her aunts, Fannie Taylor of Oklahoma City, Edna Conine and husband Mike of Woodward; nephews, Timothy Crain and wife Krystal, Derek Crain and wife Mary, Jared Crain and wife Lena; nieces, Michelle Seely, Lacie Kerr, and Brittany Rojas; great nephews, Preston, Talan, Braden, Cody, Caden, Jayden, and Harley; other relatives and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
