Mark Cosgrave, 56 years young resident of Woodward, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jeff Ralston officiated.
Mark Dennis Cosgrave was born on June 25, 1960, in Woodward, Oklahoma to Roy and Frances (Hardy) Cosgrave. Mark graduated from Fargo High School in 1978. Mark worked in the oil field for 35 years.
Mark was united in marriage to Patty Peacock in 1979, to this union they were blessed with 2 children Lisa Cosgrave and Clinton Cosgrave.
Mark was united in marriage to Greta Ames on September 20, 2013. To this union he was blessed with children Reagan Benton, Zack Benton and Cali Ames. They made their home in Woodward.
Mark was a member of the Fargo United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and Boy Scouts. Mark loved spending time with his friends, his cattle and especially his grandkids. He loved riding his motorcycle, traveling to the west coast to include Las Vegas and the Oakland Raiders.
Mark is survived by his wife Greta Cosgrave of the home: parents, Roy Cosgrave of Victoria, TX, Clinton Cosgrave and wife Kellie of Woodward, Reagan Benton of Woodward, Zack Benton of Mooreland, and Cali Ames of Woodward. Brothers Todd Wayne of Dallas, TX. Jay Bogdahn of Fargo, Joes Bogdahn and wife Stephanie of Moline, KS: four Grandchildren, Katherine Wisdom, Sage Cosgrave, Hunter Cosgrave and Macie Cosgrave: other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ezra and Sadie Cosgrave and Harold and Loudine Hardy.
