MARK ALAN CLARK
Memorial services for Mark Alan Clark will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, at the Mooreland First United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Ware and Rev. Larry Masoner officiating. He was cremated at his request under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.
Mark Alan Clark was born May 12, 1961, to Pat and Verlaine Clark in Mooreland, Oklahoma. He passed September 6, 2016, in Oklahoma City.
Mark attended school at the Village and Moore Public Schools and graduated from Mooreland High School with the Class of 1979. He married the love of his life, LaDonna Sue Wilson on May 29, 1981. They were married 35 years and were the parents of four sons, Dustin, Maxwell, Zackary, and Kirby.
He was employed by Haliburton Oilfield Services, Mooreland Co-op, C-Anchor Shavings and Dustin Donley Construction.
Mark served on the Woodward County Fair Board, assisting with building the Woodward County Events Center. He was very proud of this accomplishment.
He loved to work with his hands, both woodworking, metal work and gunsmithing. He was an avid OSU fan, especially wrestling. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and raising show animals with his boys. He loved his dogs and was an avid outdoors man. He was a strong advocate for 4-H and FFA.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lyndsey Clark.
Mark is survived by his wife, LaDonna of Mooreland; four sons, Kirby of Mooreland, Dustin and wife, Michelle, of Yukon, Maxwell and wife, Kelley of Mooreland, and Zackary and wife, Felicia, of Woodward; his parents, Pat and Verlaine Clark of Mooreland; his brother, Kent Clark and wife, Lori and their daughter, Kylie, all of Mooreland; 8 grandchildren, Alexandria, Chase, Chesnie, Zain, Ashlynn, Ethan, Kate, and MacKenzie, with the expected arrival of Jayce next month; other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Integris Neuromuscular Center or an account has been set up at the Stock Exchange Bank in Woodward.
