June D. (Petty) Kueser, 95, of Enid, formerly of Buffalo, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, surrounded by family. June was born June 13, 1919, to William and Grace (Sparks) Mitchell in Perry, Oklahoma. At a young age June moved to Buffalo with her family where she grew up and attended Buffalo Public Schools. In July of 1945, June married Marvin Petty and of this marriage they had 3 children. Marvin passed away in January of 1983. While on a bus trip to Las Vegas in 1989, June met John Kueser and they were later married in March of 1990. John passed away in October of 2001. June was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved to make cinnamon rolls, donuts, and pies. June is survived by her brother, Kenneth and wife Ellen of Dodge City, Kansas; sister, Thelma Jean Cullins and husband Tip of Buffalo; her son, Warren Lee and wife Pam of Buffalo; son, Stephen Paul of Belle Fourche, South Dakota; daughter, Phyllis Haws of Enid; stepson, Ronald Petty of Rapid City, South Dakota; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was precede in death by her parents; both husbands; son, Ralph; brothers, Charles, Bill, Bud, and Paul; sisters, Isabella, Mildred, Oleta, Leota, and an infant sister, as well as brothers-in law and sister-in-law. The family would like to express their thanks to Carter Home Health and Carter Hospice Care as well as Louise Shahan, Fran Winters, and Leah Hocker for their friendship and the loving care shown to June. Funeral services will Monday Jan 12, 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Buffalo with Rev. Jerry Hodges officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Creek Cemetery.
