Jesse Edward "Eddie" Winget, of Pauls Valley, passed away January 7, 2015 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 65 years. Eddie was born August 22, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Otho Kenneth and Delia Mae (Colson) Winget. He served in the U. S. Army and was a decorated Veteran of Viet Nam having received medals that include the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star with V Device and the Army Commendation Medal 1st with Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a Production Foreman in the Oil Fields. Eddie was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church in Woodward, Ok and has attended Beaty Baptist Church here. He was preceded in death by his parents, O. K. and Delia Winget; and his wife, Lee Anne Winget. Surviving family include his children, John Winget of Pauls Valley; and Sean Winget of Oklahoma City; Becky Anthony of Texas, Wayne Sissons of Moore, and Eric Sissons of Moreland; four grandchildren, Veronica, Rachel, Jacob and McKenzie; two brothers, Ronnie Winget of Pauls Valley, and Danny Winget of Rowlett, Texas; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Stephen Reid. His final resting place will be beside his wife at the Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward, Oklahoma. Services for cremation are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
