Jennifer was born on July 20, 1943 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Sam and Leah (Littau) Schick. She departed this life on April 5,2016 at the age of 72 years. Jennifer attended Shattuck Public Schools graduating with the class of 1961.
After High School Jennifer attended beauty school in Amarillo, Texas. On June 24, 1962 she was united in marriage to Gary Spicer. She then worked in Alva, Oklahoma as a beautician until Gary graduated from NWOSU.
Gary and Jennifer lived in Salam, Carmi and Olney Illinois. They also lived in Glendale and Tucson Arizona; Denver, Colorado; Midland, Texas; Lafayette, LA.; The Woodlands, Texas; then moved back to Midland. They then settled in Shattuck in 1999.
Jennifer graduated from Odessa College with a degree in nursing and then went to work as a Registered Nurse at Midland Memorial Hospital. She also worked at hospitals in Lafayette, LA, The Woodlands, TX and retired from Newman Memorial Hospital in Shattuck. Her passion in life was caring for people and she displayed that passion throughout her nursing career.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Leah Schick, brother Clifford Schick. Jennifer is survived by her husband Gary, children Craig Spicer and wife Stacy of Woodward, Oklahoma; Scott Spicer of Shattuck; Grandson Chance Spicer of Alva, OK. Sister Vonalee Luthi and brother-in-law Bob Luthi of Shattuck, OK.; Sister-in-law Connie Spicer of Laverne, Oklahoma. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, coworkers and many friends.

Memorial services will be saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the First
Baptist Church in Shattuck, OK with Pastor Kenneth Platte officiating.
Inurment will be saturday, April 30, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at the Shattuck Memorial Cemetery, Shattuck, Oklahoma with the Mason Funeral Home of Shattuck in charge of the arrangements.
