Jean Ann Bumpass, 64 year old resident of Daingerfield, Texas, formerly of Woodward Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 in Tyler, Texas. Memorial services celebrating her life will be held Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Woodward Conference Center, Woodward, Oklahoma.
A private family burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery.

Jean Ann Sullivan Bumpass was born to Eugene and JoAnn Sullivan
September 19, 1952. She grew up in the Woodward area, attended local schools before graduating from Woodward High School with the class of 1970. Jean was united in marriage to Joel Bumpass on February 28, 1970 in Woodward, Oklahoma. To this union were born two daughters, Jacqueline Denise and Jennifer Ann. They made their home in Woodward but moved and lived for a few years in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Later they returned to Woodward, before relocating to Daingerfield, Texas in 1985, where they currently reside. Jean was an avid wife, mother and grandmother. Her pride and joy was her family, particularly taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Joel Bumpass of Daingerfield,
Texas; two daughters, Jacqueline Bumpass, Texarkana, Texas; Jennifer
Lambert and husband Todd of Hughes Springs, Texas; six grandchildren, Caleb Lambert, Jack Lambert, Shyla Lewis, Cassie Lewis, Donovan Dublin, and Emily Bonnette; two great grandchildren, Jacqueline Lewis and Jaxson Lewis; her mother, JoAnn Phillips; two brothers, Eddie Sullivan and Ronnie Sullivan; one sister, Marie Williams, all of Enid Oklahoma; Sisters in law: Sheryl Kraft and husband Harry, Woodward, Oklahoma; Jeri Bumpass, Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; brothers in law: Dempsey Bumpass and wife Shirley, Hendrix, Oklahoma; Johnny Bumpass and wife Darlene of Maryland; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Bumpass was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Sullivan; step
father, Jeep Willliams; sister, Debbie; mother and father-in-law, Jack and
Stella Bumpass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Kidney Foundation.
