James Edmond Myers Jr., age 64, resident of Woodward, passed away Wednesday March 15, 2017 in Enid Oklahoma.
Jim was the oldest child of James and Marjorie Myers. Born March 28, 1952 in Phoenix Arizona. He married the love of his life, Keena Keele. They were blessed with two sons.
Jim and Keena lived in many places. Jim was quick to make friends, he never met a stranger. If he thought you looked at him he started talking! He was a great storyteller.
Jim and Keena loved to fish and shop for antiques and collectibles. Jim was very proud of his marble collection. They were quite the collectors. They had a passion for saving and caring for neglected and abandoned cats.
Keena passed away in 2012. Jim was devastated and never was able to recover from his loss.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents James and Marjorie Myers, wife Keena Myers and infant son Donald Myers.
James is survived by his son Kenneth Myers and wife Kristen and granddaughter Brook of Phoenix Arizona, brother Bob Myers of Phoenix Arizona, sisters Kathy Storer of Casa Grande Arizona, Trish Williams of Tucson Arizona, Mickey Chace of Kingman Arizona, father-in-law Russell Keele, sister-in-law Margaret Keele and brother-in-law Doug Kemper all of Woodward, many nieces and nephews and close friends Rick and Peggy Hill of Woodward.
The family will have a private memorial.
Jim would be pleased if you made a donation to Woof Pet Rescue in his memory.
