Hunter Cole Spruell passed away suddenly at his home in Mooreland, Oklahoma on March 5, 2017, while doing what he loved most in life, spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 10, 2017 in the First Baptist Church of Mooreland with Reverend David Houchin officiating. Interment will follow in the Mooreland Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Hunter was born on September 17, 1983 in Dallas, Texas to Bill and Amy Spruell. He married the love of his life, Krista Noble, on March 4, 2006. He was a devoted husband and dad, and his family always came first. Hunter was a lineman for Custom Energy and took his work very seriously. He pushed his guys hard, but never asked them to do anything he wouldn't do himself. When he wasn't working, he wanted to be home with his family playing outside, working around the house, and teaching their son "boy things." True to his name, Hunter was an avid bow hunter who loved being in a tree stand and hunting with family and friends. Hunter loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife, Krista, and children, Jaycie, Rowdy, and Laney of the home; his parents, Bill and Amy Spruell; sisters, Lindsey Hammond and husband Corey, and Kayla Howard and husband Cody; brother, Mason Spruell and fiancée Alicia; in-laws Jackie Kelso, Wes Kelso, and Vernon and Becky Noble; sister-in-law, Lacey Hailey and husband Nick; brother-in-law, Dusty Kelso and wife Sheila; his maternal grandmother, Fern McBee; paternal grandmother, Dorthy Spruell; and a slew of sweet nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family with the funeral accepting the contributions.
