Georgia Winstead Eubanks 89, departed this life on June 9th 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Georgia was born on July 1st 1926 to W.T and Agnes (Keesman) Winstead, in Mutual, Oklahoma. She grew up on the homestead with her eight siblings, learning how to farm, garden and cook. She worked at the Armour Creamery until she finished high school. She then moved to Oklahoma City to attend Draughon's Business College. After passing her civil service examination, she began work as a Secretary, in Veterans Administration in Washington D.C. After a few years of service, she returned to Oklahoma and in 1954, married Jack Eubanks. The military took Jack, Georgia and their five children; Jackie, Richard, Bill, K.C and Karen (the couple had a 6th child, Sharon, that passed away shortly after birth), all over the country and bases overseas, to places such as Germany, Fort Chaffee and Fort Rucker, before settling down to raise their family and take on ownership of the local general store in Box Oklahoma. They later divorced and in 1986 Georgia made her way back to Woodward, to live closer to her sisters and other relatives.

She was active in the church, community and senior center. Georgia loved to work in the yard and took great pride in cultivating her beautiful flower gardens. Georgia loved visitors and would feed anyone that stopped by, often right from the garden that she so meticulously nurtured. Georgia lived a life devoted to the Lord and helping others, no matter how steep the price or burden, she was happiest when taking care of someone else. She was so very loved and will be missed every day.

Georgia is survived by two sons, K.C. Eubanks and wife Jimmie Lou of Vian; Bill Arnold and wife Connie of Sallisaw; three granddaughters, Lisa Tyler and husband Brandon of Vian; Summer Arnold of Sallisaw; Ryan Pratt and husband Tanner Grass of Denver, CO; four grandsons, Justin Eubanks and wife Nicole of Oklahoma City; Chace Arnold and wife Amy of Broken Arrow; Heath Eubanks of Vian; Jordan Stull of Oklahoma City; eight great-grandchildren; Cash and Wyatt Eubanks; Teegan Arnold; Sadie and Carson Tyler; Jocelyn; Brooklyn and Tripp Grass;
