Donald R. "Duck" Hobbs, 50 years young, of Woodward, physically left this earth on Sunday, February 12, 2017. A Graveside burial service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Following the graveside, friends and family are invited to Donald and Shena's castle for a Celebration of his life.
Duck is survived by his wife Shena of 17 years, seven children, a beacoup of loving turkey butts (grandchildren), his parents Donna and Steve Hobbs, brother Richard and wife Shawna, baby brother Chris and wife Becky, numerous relatives countless friends, and of course his furry four-legged companion "Precious." Donald was preceded in death by his boys Ben and Travis Hobbs.
Duck will always have an energy presence as being a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, uncle, friend, and confidant to all. He loved fishing (noodling), lake trips, hunting, casino runs, seeking out new adventures with his fair maiden, watching thrilling sci-fi movies, being outdoors, BBQing for friends and family.....then eating all the delicious food!!!
Donald enjoyed life to the max, there was nothing he wouldn't try...at least once. A man who wore many hats, and a lack of all trades!! Duck was always there when you needed him, and would give you his last penny. A man who adored his lady, family, and friends. A man who embraced every moment of life with a smile on his face and lived it crazy, loud, and flamboyant without embarrassment.
Your energy will always remain on this earth, as it cannot be destroyed. Memories you have blessed us with will remain forever in our hearts....forever loved.
