David Jones, 56 year old Woodward resident died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 7, 2015 in the New Covenant Church with Reverend Ed Dowty officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. David Lee Jones was born on September 19, 1958 in Cushing, Oklahoma the son of C.W. Robson and Vida Stowers. David spent his childhood in Enid, Woodward and Dallas. His junior year of high school David and his family move to Davenport where he graduated from Davenport High School. David was united in marriage to Mary Ann Culp on August 10, 1979 at the Assembly of God Church in Woodward. They were blessed with three sons, Jeremiah, Joshua and Patrick. David worked mostly in the oilfield as a derrick hand, but also spent time working as a carpenter and in the auto parts industry. David enjoyed working on cars, building model cars. David loved to spend time with his sons, from flying a kite to watching them play soccer, he enjoyed just being with his boys. He was a member of the New Covenant Church. David is survived by his wife Mary Ann of the home; three sons, Jeremiah Jones and wife Charise; Joshua Jones; and Patrick Jones and wife Jennifer all of Woodward; five grandchildren, Kaiya; Autumn; Bentley; Braelyn; and Kaylee; parents, Vida and C.W. Robson of Davis; two sister, Sheila Norton and husband Tony; Terrie Bergman and husband Richard; other family and friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Alan Ferguson, and Rick Jones, grandmother Ann Hill, aunt Doris Stowers, father-in-law Duane Culp, and cousin Debbie Ann Patterson.
