Cary Scott Peck, 52 years old, passed away at his home in Oklahoma City. He was born October 5, 1962, in Sentinel, Oklahoma to Jimmy and Lynda Peck. Cary grew up in Woodward where he was a member of the First Baptist Church. At Woodward High School, Cary played tennis and varsity basketball for the Boomers, with his dad Jim as his coach. After graduating from high school in 1980, Cary began his college career at Oklahoma State University and then moved on to Oklahoma University, finishing at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he received a degree in business administration with an emphasis in foreign trade. He chose marketing for his career and worked in several states before returning to Oklahoma. Cary was a gifted artist and photographer and also a fitness enthusiast. He attended the Mayflower Congregational Church in Oklahoma City. Cary is survived by his parents of Edmond, his brother Mark and wife Janice of Norman, four nieces, seven nephews, and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, and he will be sorely missed by his beloved Lab-mix Francesca. Services are pending. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Woodward…where Cary spent many happy years.
