Yutona DeWolf, 76 year old Woodward resident, died Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Shannon Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Yutona (Zimmerman) DeWolf was born on August 7, 1940 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Zeneta Zimmerman. Yutona grew up on a farm west of Woodward. She attended Tangier schools and graduated from Woodward High School in 1958. She was united in marriage to Merrill DeWolf on March 27, 1959. They were blessed with two daughters, Tally Jo and Kelly Lee. Yutona stayed home with her daughters and later worked for the Woodward Public Schools in the cafeteria.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodward. She was a member of the Better Homes and Garden Club. Yutona enjoyed reading, yard work, stained glasswork and she loved being with her family.
She is survived by her husband Merrill DeWolf of the home; two daughters: Tally Ruppel and husband Jerry; Kelly Masoner and husband Larry; granddaughter, Krista Renee (Ruppel) Hull and husband Chris; grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Ruppel; great-granddaughter, Lillian Faye Hull; one sister Trudy (Zimmerman) Zirkle; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
