Wynilou (Winnie) Wylie Shaw, 73 year old Woodward resident died Saturday, August 27, 2016 in OKC. Born Dec. 4, 1942 in Pampa Texas to J.T. Wylie and Mary Pearl (Thompson) Wylie. She attended school in Pampa until her Sr. year when she got married to Melvin Lee Shaw. Together they lived in Texas, California and Kansas before finally making their home in Woodward, in 1972. To this union 2 children were born, Justin Lee Shaw and Marni Jo Shaw.

Winnie was a stay at home mom, wife and the occasional babysitter for many people within the Woodward area. She loved her coffee ship friends, her sewing and her grandson's guitar playing.

She is survived by Marni Jo Shaw, daughter; Caylon Lee Shaw, grandson; Deborah Lynne Shaw, daughter in law; Jason Jalufka, grandson and family; Lauren Jade Dixon, granddaughter, Geary W. Sellers, special friend and dance partner; Gretah Arnold, her best friend and many other wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents J.T and Mary Pearl Wylie, husband Melvin Lee Shaw, son Justin Lee Shaw, grandson Kyle Louis Jalufka and sister Betty Ann Thomas Shaw.

Would like to say a brief word of appreciation to those at Grace Living Center in Clinton, Ok for taking good care of mom this last year. Its been a rough road. Also to those at Deaconess Hospital for making her final days more comfortable.

A memorial Service will be set at a later date.
