William "Bill" Beauchamp, 84 year old Woodward resident, died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Grace Living Center in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Billings Funeral Home Chapel. Bill's final resting place will be at Macedonia United Methodist Cemetery in Arlington, TN.

Bill was born April 13, 1932 in Memphis, TN to William and Edith Beauchamp. He graduated high school from Bartlett High School in 1950 and Jackson Jr. College with a degree in Business in 1954. He also served two years in the Air National Guard. Bill married Carolyn Thompson in 1951 and together they had two sons. In 1975, Bill and Carolyn moved to Woodward where he was employed at WR Grace. They enjoyed 33 wonderful years together until her passing 1984. After Bill's retirement, he stayed in Woodward where he had many friends. He always had to stay busy, and spent the last several years of his "retirement" working for Carpet Direct, a job he loved dearly. Bill loved everything, but his favorite past times were fishing, golfing and playing cards. He never met a stranger and had the most infectious smile. He made a great impact on many, and he will be sorely missed.

Bill is survived by his two sons and their wives, Bill & Bonnie Beauchamp and Tony & Paula Beauchamp. Two granddaughters, Dr. Shelby Beauchamp and Kathryn Beth Beauchamp. Sister, Billie Dereberry. Long time companion, Theresa Crouch and daughter Lori (Crouch) Jackson, daughter in law Cyndee Crouch, grandchildren Chaundra Crouch and husband Stephen Siard, Bryan Crouch and wife Mandy, Kelli McCarlson and McKenzie Jackson, great grandchildren Landon & Madyson McCarlson and Lochlan Crouch.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn, his parents, one sister Betty, Larry Crouch and Rance Jackson.

The family would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the wonderful nursing staff at Grace Living Center and Faith Hospice who tenderly cared for Bill during the last months of his life. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to Faith Hospice 222 W. 3rd St Ste 1 Elk City, OK 73644
