Tad Eike, 38 year old Woodward resident, died Saturday, July 27, 2019 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, August 2, 2019 in the First Baptist Church with Reverend Tony Barros officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Tad Dean Eike was born on February 3, 1981 at the Newman Memorial Hospital In Shattuck, Oklahoma to Tom Eike and Susan (Terbush) Hague. He was raised in Woodward, Oklahoma by his father. He attended school in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School in 1999. Tad attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, graduating with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology in 2003. He then moved back to Woodward to work at the family ranch north of town.

Dan and Betty Feese cared for Tad in his youth and helped to make him the person we all loved. While growing up, Tad played soccer and baseball with Tom carting him and his friends all over the state. Tad was a talented photographer and remained an avid sports fan, always cheering on his favorite OSU Cowboys. Tad enjoyed working with cattle and found peace in his country life.

Tad spent his time with his longtime girlfriend, Laura Armendariz and her daughter, Lyric Crain. They brought joy into his life.

Tad was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Naomi Eike, and his maternal grandparents, Wyatt and Joyce Terbush.

Tad is survived by his father, Tom Eike of Woodward; mother, Susan Hague of Woodward; sisters, Julie Yauk; and Lauren Cooper; aunts, Jo Ann Comstock and husband Al of Woodward; Dana Ashpaugh of Shattuck; uncle, Darrell Eike of Midwest City; numerous cousins; other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation for heart research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

Susan, I just learned of Tads death on the internet, I'm very sorry for your loss and also of the loss of your mother. Seems like the older we get, the more we loose. Sure don't make it any easier tho.
My wife Kay passed away in Dec of 2018, leaving quite a gap in my life.
Please remember that GOD is still in control and HE will see you thru this too.
