Steven Ray Brewer
Steven Ray Brewer was born on November 14, 1951 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Edward Raymond and Helen Elizabeth (Mabey) Brewer. Steve grew up on the family farm north of Fargo. He attended Fargo schools and graduated from Fargo High School in 1970. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart Yvonna Kay Thomas on December 20, 1970 in Fargo, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Alva because Steve attended and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Steve worked at various places including Wanger Service Station in Fargo, the Woodward Livestock Auction, and Whitcomb Lumber which later became Ace Hardware. Steve also worked for Ted Harvey, the Fargo Farmers Co-op, and Atwoods. He retired from Atwoods in 2016. He loved visiting and helping people in all the places he worked.

Being with family was Steve's favorite thing to do, whether it was going to ball games, dance recitals, or livestock shows he loved watching his grandkids. He tried to be at every activity his children or grandchildren were involved in.
