Text size

Regina Marie Curtis of Oklahoma City, daughter of Gilbert Curtis, Sr. and Inez (White Buffalo) Curtis, was born on December 8, 1983 in Clinton, OK. She was tragically taken from this life early in June of 2000. After a heartbreaking struggle to find her for 16 years, the family will finally be able to lay her to rest. She grew up mostly in the Clinton area, and attended Ardmore, El Reno, and finally Oklahoma City Schools. Regina was a freshman in high school at the time of her disappearance. In her spare time Regina enjoyed listening to music, hanging out with her friends and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She loved to entertain, and nothing made her happier than getting other people to smile or laugh. Regina was preceded in death by her mother Inez Curtis; grandparents John and Phoebe White Buffalo, and grandmother Lena Belle Tenorio. Survivors include Regina’s father, Gilbert Curtis, Sr. of Clinton; seven brothers and sisters; Cameron Curtis of Clinton, Virgil Curtis of Weatherford, Monica Curtis, Andrea Curtis, Augustine Curtis, Eric Curtis, and Gilbert Curtis, Jr. all of Clinton; several aunts and uncles, especially LaFreda White Buffalo, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. A traditional all night wake will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 starting at 7 PM in the C-1 Community Building, 411 N. Main, Seiling, OK. Funeral Services will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2016 also at the C-1 Community Building with Pastors Gerald Panana and George Akeen, Jr. officiating.
