Pearl Marie Harrison
Pearl Marie (Jones) Harrison was born on October 8, 1926 in Alva, Oklahoma; she was the daughter of Otto and Effie Jones. Pearl grew up in Mutual and graduated from Mutual High School. She was united in marriage to George William (Bill) Harrison Jr. on July 30, 1944 in Coldwater, Kansas. They made their home on the Harrison home place north of Woodward, Oklahoma. They were blessed with four sons: Billy Joe, Jim, J.D., and Wally.
Pearl was a homemaker, a ranchers wife, and mom to four rowdy boys who she loved dearly. She loved horse racing, traveling, the OKC Thunder, OSU football, March Madness, family reunions, and Colorado. Pearl and Bill loved following their race horses and they enjoyed their many trips with the Oklahoma Cattlemens Association, especially the trips to Alaska, Australia, and Hawaii. Pearls main joy in life were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the RLDS Church and was also a member of the Cowbells and ALANON.
She is survived by her three sons: Jim Harrison of Houston, Texas, J.D. Harrison and wife Marsha of Woodward, Wally Harrison and wife Sonja of Woodward; daughter-in-law, Linda Harrison of Woodward; grandchildren, Chad Harrison, Jenni Haveman and husband Joe, Marcy Phillips and husband William Powell, Jason Harrison and wife Karen, Jane Oteiza and husband Maurice, Justin Bowers and wife Marsha, John Harrison and wife Kelly, Ashley Hixon and husband Craig, Cory Latta and partner Tracy, Jessica Stout and husband Chaney, Cooper Harrison great-grandchildren, Brooke Ward and husband Tom, Morgan Wadsworth and husband Chance, Kayla Godwin and husband Kris, Madison Harrison, Cody Peters, Kale Hixon, Paige Roach and husband Garrett, Kate Haveman and her fiancé, Meg Haveman, Taylor Harrison, Ryan Harrison, Caroline Oteiza, Keeton Bowers, Nick Bowers, Hunter Harrison, Chloe Stout, Charlie Powell, Lily Oteiza, Layla Stout, Frankie Powell, Willy Harrison, and Charlie Harrison; great-great-grandchdren, Aliyah Wadsworth, Ava Flor, Hudson Wadsworth, Hayden Wadsworth, and Kynlee Godwin; and three more great-great-grandchildren will be born in 2019, a girl in May and twins in July; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Harrison, one son Billy Joe Harrison, daughter-in-law, Joan Harrison and three brothers and their wives.
