Mollie Luella Moser
Mollie Luella Moser was born on August 5, 1925 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Roy Edward and Luella Pearl ( Lucas) Carey. Mollie grew up south of Fargo, and attended a country school. Her family moved to Woodward her sixth grade year, she then attended Woodward schools. She was united in marriage to Shelby Vernon Moser on September 30, 1945 in Woodward, where they made their home. After the tornado hit Woodward, Mollie and Shelby moved to a farm south of town where she resided until her death.
She worked for Trego's Western Wear as a leather designer, she then worked as the produce manager at Safeway until her retirement. Her and Shelby also owned and operated a lumber yard.
Mollie was an avid gardener, enjoyed sewing, canning vegetables from her garden. She also enjoyed reading and studying her bible. She loved playing cards and watching her grandchildren. She and Shelby worked side by side running their farm, and race horses.
Mollie is survived by two sons, Wes Moser and wife Eva of Woodward; John Moser and wife Sherry of Goodlettsville, Tennessee; ten grandchildren, Zach Moser; Falisha Bowers; Brandi Moser; Cody Moser; Chris Moser; Heather Cruz; Lori Moreno; Jason Smith; Aaron Smith; and Amanda Smith; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Williams; sister-in-law, Stella Moser both of Woodward; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter and son-in-law, Luella Darr and Jr. Darr; granddaughter, Alisha Moser; sister, Esther Dobrinski.
