Marguerite White

Marguerite White, 89 year old Ft. Supply resident, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019 in Buffalo. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 19, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of Ft. Supply with her son Reverend Todd White officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Marguerite White had the gift of hospitality. She made everyone feel important. She loved completely and unconditionally. She was known for her smile, quick wit and large family gatherings. She served Oklahoma in public service at Western State Hospital for 30 years before retiring in 1993. Her grandchildren often referred to her as the "Googling Granny" as she was Tech savvy and would often look up information for them. She taught us how to laugh at life. Easter hunts at grandma's house were enjoyed by adults and littles alike. She loved playing cards with special friends. She Loved the Lord.

Marguerite's legacy is extended through her children: Sandy and Earl Shaw, Jane White, Lynda and Brent Harris, Todd and Tonda White; grandchildren: Earl Gene and Tracy Shaw, Bobie and Jason Miller, Candi and Joe Dunigan, Whit White, Mindy and RK Simon, Shane and Vickie Eller, Sabrina and Cameron Clark, Tara Andrea and Daniel Mitchell, Ti and Sonia White, Tialyn and Gabe John; great-grandchildren: Chance Shaw, Olivia Shaw, Tawna Shaw, Tracy Miller, Garion Collins, Terry Miller, Cailynn White, Rawley Simon, Myer Simon, Abigail Eller, Logan Matthews, Colt Clark, Adyson Clark, Jozlynn Clark, Samantha Leopold, Brylee White, Maysen White, Akira John, and Kahlia John; great-great-grandchild, Levi Tromble; sister-in-law, Betty Wilcoxson; brother-in-law, Emit Feil; two selected sons: Willard Kiper and Victor Crivelli; and special friends Harvey and Lynette Rutherford, Frank Carriker, many other family and friends.

She was preceded in her journey by her parents, Tom and Eunice Wilcoxson, Little Momma Ethel Wilcoxson, the love of her life and husband Mansel White, her son Bob White, her brother Roland Wilcoxson and sister Norma Lee Feil.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with the funeral home accepting the contributions.

Marguerite was like a Grandmother to me and great grandma to all 5 of my kids. She saw all of them grow up! We loved going over and seeing her when we came down to my grandparents house next door. They also loved her and Mansel! We will miss her so dearly. One of the things my kids always talk about is her “lemon” plant. Not sure what it is but the leaves smell like lemon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
