Leslie C. File, 87, passed away peacefully in his home on June 24, 2018, with his loving family by his side.
Born on January 24, 1931, in Fargo, Oklahoma, he was the son of Ray File and Marie Trice. In his youth, Les attended and graduated from Fargo High School after which he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to begin his legacy. Regarded as an effective businessman, Les founded several companies in the commercial construction industry over the years, the most well-known of which was "Les File Drywall." Greatly admired by his colleagues, Les will always be remembered for his honesty and ingenuity. Known to live life to the fullest, he enjoyed golfing with his friends and cherished spending time with his family.
Les was a beloved member of his community, touching many lives with his kindness, jovial heart, and unconditional love for those he knew. Les was a devoted member of his church and expressed his faith through care and concern for his loved ones and community.
Les was preceded in death by his loving wife of 36 years, Sally File, and his son Jeffery File. He is survived by his sons: Christopher Mason (Jennifer), Jason File (Sadaf), and J.D File (Susan), his wife Barbara as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several extended family members. His wisdom, intelligence, spirit, and a good sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him.
