Jarrell Ray Brewer
Jarrell Ray Brewer, 84, of Meridian passed away August 25, 2019 in Yakutat, Alaska while fishing.

JR was born in a dugout in Fargo, Oklahoma to Clarence and Ursula Brewer. He graduated from Fargo in 1953, enlisting in the US Navy shortly after. He proudly served for four years. He married Norma Jean Brewer on January 31, 1958 in Fargo. He attended Oklahoma State graduating with an engineering degree. Three sons were born to JR and Jean.

In 1971 JR and Jim Swank created Technical Systems Incorporated. In 1975 the business and family was moved to Idaho. JR innovated a new refrigeration process for raw product cold storage. This technology is now used worldwide.

JR retired in June 2000. He and Jean spent many years traveling. They were best friends. JR always had time for his family. They were first in his life. He was preceded death by his parents and two sisters and one brother. He is survived by his wife, his boys, Marty, Ken and Stan. He has seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life was held September 7, 2019 .
