Everett “Bud” Grace, 74 year old Gage resident, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2015 in the May Cemetery. Burial will follow with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Everett Leroy Grace was born on June 4, 1941 in Harper County, Oklahoma to Everett Leroy and Vivian Alene (Brant) Grace. Bud grew up in several different northwest Oklahoma towns and graduated from Ft. Supply High School in 1959. He was united in marriage to Judy Ray on June 30, 1962 at the Vici Christian Church in Vici, Oklahoma. Bud worked for the MK&T Railroad, the Farmers COOP in Mooreland, the pipeline construction business and his own carpentry business. Bud enjoyed being with animals around the farm, especially his horses. He loved being with his grandchildren, working on vehicles and building things. Some of his favorite times were babysitting his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Judy Grace of the home; his mother, Vivian Grace of May; two sons, Everett Leroy Grace III and wife Jessica of Helena; Mike Grace and wife Amanda of Broken Arrow; two daughters, Dee Dee Ogden and husband Irv of Fairview, Tammy Arbgast and husband Alan of Woodward; nine grandchildren, Kayla Ogden, Hadley Ogden, Jonathan Murray, Vicky Schroeder, Ty Grace, Dale Grace, Danica Grace, Jax Grace, Jillian Grace; seven great-grandchildren, Austin, Grace, Ceirra, Arli Jo, Layla, Keeley, Lexi; two brothers, John Grace, Bill Wilson; seven sisters, Ellen Pond and husband Lloyd, Gayle Whitten and husband Don, Linda Aytes, Jane Carrell and husband Randell, Janiece and husband Gary Lee, Carol Carrell and husband Chigger Cosner, Sue Best and husband Roland; brother in law, Stewart Ray and wife Joan, many neices and nephews, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother Dale Grace, one sister Evelyn Wichert, a niece Becky Whitten, and a nephew Randy Carrell. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner Hospital with the funeral home accepting the contributions on behalf of the family.
