Donna "Sugar" Alexander Baldwin, Age 66, died peacefully surrounded by family on January 3, 2018, at Grace Living Center in Woodward, OK. "Sugar" as family and friends knew her was born February 21, 1951, to Sim and Arlene (McKay) Alexander in Mooreland. She was the fourth of seven children and grew up in Woodward where she attended and graduated Woodward High School in 1969. "Sugar" raised her family in Bethany, OK where she was employed by AT&T for 30 years. Throughout her life she doted on her grandchildren, loved spending time with family, gardening, tending her roses, her doll collection and Disney princesses. She enjoyed all forms of music, from Opera to current Rock 'N' Roll and attending performances of the fine arts. She was preceeded in death by her parents, James Simeon Alexander and Arlene Adella (McKay) Alexander, 1 sister in law, 1 niece and 2 brothers. She is survived by her daughter Carrie Wray-Sloan and husband Cortis of OKC, son Bryan D.D. Baldwin and Heather of OKC, 4 grandchildren, Logan, Brandon, Aliya and Malka, siblings Maxine Tune, Gerald Alexander, James "Jim" Alexander, Robert "Andy Pandy" Alexander, Linda "Susie" Rivera, and Marilyn "Mattie Faye" Thomas, numerous nephews, nieces, and great-nephews/nieces primarily throughout the Woodward area. A celebration of Sugars life will be held Saturday, February 3rd, 11 a.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery, Harper County between Fargo and Fort Supply. Bring lots of memories and "Sugar" stories to share as we place her ashes with her beloved Momma and Daddy. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Living Center and Faith Hospice for their constant love and attention. Loved and missed by her family, we love you Sugar, always.
