Raymond Dallas Donley was born on February 19, 1942 in Shattuck, Oklahoma; he was the son of Raymond LeRoy Doc and Beulah Mae (Love) Donley. Dallas grew up near Fargo, and attended Fargo schools, and graduated from Fargo High School. He attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, where he received his associates degree. He then attended Oklahoma State University.
Dallas was united in marriage to Claudia Beth Dryer on June 10, 1965 in Woodward, Oklahoma by longtime family friend Melvin Rittenhouse. Dallas and Claudia made their home in Woodward, and have remained here since. They were blessed with two children, Jesse and Angie. Dallas went to work in the family business and later became the owner operator of Donleys Farm and Ranch Supply, until his retirement.
Dallas loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. In his younger days he enjoyed calf roping, and was active in the cutting horse arena. He also was a firearm enthusiast and enjoyed reloading ammo with his son Jess. Dallas also loved to go to his grandchildrens sporting and school events.
He attended the First United Methodist Church.
Dallas is survived by his wife of 53 years Claudia Donley; son, Jesse Donley of Sand Springs; daughter, Angie LeForce and husband Clint of Buffalo; two grandsons, Cooper and Lane LeForce both of Buffalo; three brothers, Curtis Donley of Whitesbrough, Texas; Randy Donley and Rodney Donley both of Woodward; brothers-in-law, Jim Garren and wife Carol of Colorado; Al Andrade and wife Joyce of Arizona; several nieces, nephews other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Nancy Donley; in-laws, Calvin, Doris, and Ailene Dryer.
