Cleo's Story

Cleo Marie (Dunnihoo) Ogden, 96, of Oklahoma City, died at home with family at her side on Thursday, August 10th, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Shattuck, OK on December 29, 1920 and married Ernest Ogden on March 3, 1943. They made their home in Shattuck, OK for several years before moving to California. After spending many years in California, they returned to Oklahoma where they opened and operated a retail business for 30 years. They also farmed and raised cattle on the farm in which Cleo was raised.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a member of Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oklahoma City and active in St. Johns Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest and parents, Wayne and Rosie Dunnihoo.
She is survived by her daughter Linda and her husband Bruce Grummer, granddaughter Stephanie and husband George Kapsalis, one great granddaughter, son Troy Ogden and wife Marelyn, grandson Travis Ogden and wife Jamie and three great grandsons and many step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She will be remembered by those for whom her life has touched.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from noon to 5:00 pm at Demuth Funeral Home, 1145 Britton Road, Oklahoma City. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 14, 2017 at Cathedral of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Oklahoma City. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Woodward, OK.
