Carolyn Bonnie Morris, 91 year old Woodward resident died Friday, November 3, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Shannon Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Prairieview Cemetery.
Carolyn Bonita Morris was born on May 13, 1926 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Ivan and Eva Moore. She attended school in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. She worked as a telephone operator in Woodward and met her husband Walton Morris who was in the Army Air Corp stationed at Woodward Air Base. They were married on Christmas day in 1945 in the Presbyterian Church of Woodward. They made their home in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Bonnie was an extremely active member of the United Methodist Church, which was an important part of her life of service. At Faith United Methodist in Indianapolis she taught Sunday School and cared for small children for many years. She spent recent years caring for great grandchildren. Her love of children and church was always very important to her.
She is survived by her two sons Michael Morris and wife Susan, Stephen Morris and wife Janet, five grandsons Scott Morris and wife Lynn, Brian Morris and wife Elizabeth, Mark Morris and wife Sasha, Todd Hack and wife Alisha, Christopher Hack; eleven great grandchildren Caitlin Morris, Emily Morris, Matthew Morris, Nicholas Morris, Malea Morris, Arthur Morris, James Morris, Cooper Hack, Petra Morris, Ender Morris, and Noah Hack; one brother Wesley and sister in law Pat Moore, and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walton Morris, her daughter Rebecca Hack, and son in law Randy Hack.
