Brian Johnston, 34 year old Woodward resident died as a result of an automobile accident Tuesday, November 8, 2016 south of Woodward. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2016 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Joe Arledge officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Brian Lee Johnston was born on January 2, 1982 in Shattuck, Oklahoma the son of Lawrence Lee "Larry" and Deborah Kay "Debbie" (Clay) Johnston. Brian was the first baby born that year in the Shattuck Hospital. Brian was reared in Woodward, attended Woodward schools and graduated from Woodward High School with the class of 2000. Brian began his working career with Case Welding. He was blessed with the birth of two of his daughters, Mollye Ann; and Brylee Kay through his union with Natalie Parker. He also worked in the oil field as a snubber. A job he throughly enjoyed, always giving it 110 percent. He always gave any job or task he needed to complete his all. Brian was united in marriage to Ciara Rose Nicholson in 2014 in Troy, Pennsylvania where they made their home. To this union one daughter was born, Jaylee Marie Rose. Brian and his family moved back to Woodward recently and he was currently working on a farm.
Brian enjoyed playing video games, hunting. He played the Bongo Drums, like to fish as long as they were bitting, he also enjoyed camping. Most of all he loved his girls, he cherished every moment spent with his daughters.
Brian is survived by his parents, Larry Johnston and Debbie Johnston both of Woodward; wife, Ciara Johnston of the home; three daughters, Mollye Ann Johnston and Brylee Kay Johnston both of Edgewood, New Mexico; and Jaylee Marie Rose Johnston of Woodward; one sister, Stephanie Brooke Johnston of Woodward; one brother, Jerrid Wayne Johnston of Woodward; several other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene W. Clay and Elmer L. Johnston.
