Anastasia "Stasia"'s Story
Anastasia "Stasia" Myers, 14 year old Woodward High School Freshman, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 in Woodward. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Mary Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery. The family requests that those who attend her service to please wear your "BOOMER" shirts. If anyone wishes to put a Boomer sticker or a token of remembrance in Stasia's casket, please feel free to do so. She loved her Teammates!!!!!!!
Anastasia Day Myers was born on April 13, 2002 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; she is the daughter of John Michael and Shannon Eileen (Myers) Cron. Stasia as she was affectionately known by, grew up in Shawnee, Ft. Supply, and was currently living in Woodward. She attended Highland Park in Woodward, the Woodward Middle School and was going to be going to the Woodward High School as a Freshman.
She was a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church and was also involved in the First Assembly of God Church. Stasia enjoyed basketball, animals, fishing, books, movies, video games, drawing, dance, and gymnastics. Her first love was softball and she was looking forward to playing high school softball. She loved her friends and family and she will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her parents, John and Shannon Cron of the home; brother Memphis Swann Cron; sister Zandra Brooklyn Cron; maternal grandparents Randy and Mary Myers of Woodward; great-grandparents Bob and Darlene Westenhaver; aunt and uncle Sarah Arnold and husband Jeff and cousins Camden and Christian;aunt and uncle Stephanie U'Ren and husband Daniel and cousins Aiden, Liem, and Keirsten; uncle Daniel Cron and wife Penny; many other cousins, family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Warren and Alta Myers and Ronald Gene Cron.
