She passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016. Surviving are her parents of the home, Leon and Becky Ramirez. She leaves behind three brothers, all of Woodward, Brian Ramirez and wife Jordan, their children are Zachary Ramirez, Kobe Camacho, and Gracelyn Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez and wife Shay, their children Jackson and Jaylee Ramirez, Dereck Ramirez and Shalimar Weder and their daughter, Braylee Ramirez; two sisters, both of Woodward, Keeley Stafford and Jada Covalt; Shane Stafford, her birth father and his parents Lonnie Stafford, Dorothy and Blue, all of Woodward. She was preceded in death by both her paternal grandparents, Buddy and Helen Ramirez, her maternal grandparents, Richard and Wilma Jean, and her best friend Keela Edwards. Alyssa was the baby of the family and she was the highlight of her big brother’s young lives. They adored her and she wanted to do everything they did. If they were playing football, she wanted to play too. Lyssa was a born performer. She loved to dance and sing and sing some more. She never knew a stranger. Alyssa was involved in dance for many years. She was always front and center! She loved it. Throughout her Junior High and high school years, she played softball, basketball, and soccer. She was always very competitive. Failure was not an option. To all of her friends, she was known as the care giver or “The Momma.” She rarely put herself first when it came to them and she was always there to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed being with her nieces and nephews. They might be at the park playing or going to get ice cream. Alyssa touched so many lives with her bright smile. She will be forever missed by her family and friends. Remembrances may be shared online at www.billingsfuneralhomewoodward.com
