Allison Paige Wadkins, 30, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on December 16, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the hospital after a battle with illness.
Allison was born Valentines Day, February 14, 1987 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Lynn & Nancy Wadkins. Her brother Alan, and sisters Tracy and Erin were excited to welcome her home a few days later.
Allison graduated as valedictorian of her class from Woodward High School in 2005. She pursued her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University. Upon graduating from college, she pursued her professional career in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After graduation she married and later divorced. She went on to obtain her Masters degree in Forensic Accounting while in New Mexico. In 2013 Allison moved back to Oklahoma to be closer to family.
Allison is survived by her Father Lynn Wadkins of Edmond Oklahoma, Sister Tracy Schickedanz of Yukon Oklahoma, Brother Alan Schickedanz and his wife Deborah and daughters Dakota & Addison of Oklahoma City, Grandmother Belva Wadkins of Laverne Oklahoma, Aunt Lori Frost of Fritch Texas, and Uncle Bill & Aunt May Warren of Sands Springs & Camargo Oklahoma, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
Our precious Allison was gathered to the angels. Her sass and radiant personality will be missed dearly on this earth as she is now reunited with her mother Nancy Wadkins and sister Erin Wadkins Stavlo in heaven.
A memorial service to celebrate Allisons life will be held on January 6th, 2018 at 10am at New Horizon United Methodist Church located at 5115 W. Oklahoma Ave., in Woodward, Oklahoma.
